I am a first-time blogger. I decided to start this blog to document my life with wife Allison , dogs
Lucy and Bailey, and our adventures with the soon-to-be new member of our family, Baby X. We don't know the gender of Baby X, and I won't supply my preference here, lest Baby X should read this post someday and feel unwanted (which would never be the case!). But whoever Baby X turns out to be, I want to have a place where people close to me can come to find out what is going on in his or her little life. And for me, its a memory backup. I can't remember what's going on in my life let alone a rapidly developing baby's.

months ago (Julyish). When did I find out? Well, it was a pretty average day. I was in our office at 2 Toronto St. in Guelph, pretending to work on my masters. I heard Allison down the hall in bathroom, supposedly having a normal, everyday pee. I heard her come out and walk down the hall. She entered the office. I looked up. She was standing there with a stick in her hand, crying. But this was no ordinary stick:
It was a stick of fate. With this one tiny, urine-induced word, our lives had changed forever. Next time on Blogging 'Bout Baby: Telling our families.
So exciting! I can't wait to meet baby "x"! And I guess I shouldn't gender specify either, since chances are I'll be wrong and then baby "x" will read this years later and resent her/his aunty Molly for assuming they were the wrong gender. Still, I can't wait to meet him....uh...or her...!
